With the church’s international voting body meeting Tuesday in Oregon, the high-profile marriage could persuade delegates at the General Conference to pass several proposals that would repeal the church’s anti-gay rules. None of this surprises me. I am a United Methodist and I believe that the vote will pass for same-sex marriages and inclusion of gay clergy. Satan has a short time to reign, then heaven help all that did not stand steadfast in the word of God.
