We have been warning for some time now about the coming “Hate-Crime” Legislation Laws that would soon sweep the globe and now according to a new report, we are seeing this begin to unfold. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced a bill that would criminalize anti-transgender speech, with violators receiving up to two years in prison. The new bill, introduced May 17 on the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, aims to amend the Canadian Criminal Code to expand the country’s “hate speech” prohibitions to include any public speech or communication that “promotes hatred” on the basis of “gender identity” or “gender expression.” It would also change the Canadian Human Rights Act to cover transgender people.
“As a society, we have taken many important steps toward recognizing and protecting the legal rights for the LGBTQ2 community — from enshrining equality rights in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms to the passage of the Civil Marriage Act,” Trudeau said in a speech, adding, “There remains much to be done, though. So can I now expect the authorities to throw the transformation in jail for “hate-display” or shall I take my tazer and zap it a few times?
I have never said anything hateful to the transgender community. Not once. I have had a lot of hate speech directed towards me because of my beliefs, but I don’t see any threats of jail time for these offenders. Are there going to be laws put in place to protect Christians, Jewish people, overweight people, pedophiles, terrorists, etc. Everyone has their own opinions but it is not wise to consider all your opinions as truth. Truth does not change regardless of your belief. I will continue to speak truth and believe truth whatever this insane world decides is legal. Right trumps legal every time in the ‘real’ world.
