Target is making a stand on the debate around what type of bathrooms transgenders can use. In a statement posted on its company website Tuesday, the discounter, based in Minneapolis, said transgender employees and customers can use the restroom or fitting room facility that “corresponds with their gender identity.” The statement comes as a national debate is heating up over whether to restrict transgender people from using public bathrooms that only match their gender at birth.
North Carolina is facing backlash for its recent ban on local anti-discrimination ordinances. And other states are considering legislation similar to that adopted by North Carolina. When something bad happens because of this stupid move they will want to sweep it under the rug! Expose it now…families, elderly, disabled, etc stay away because you may be at risk in the restroom! If Target or any other franchise permits this, and my child or any child is assaulted or exposed to any kind of indecency or anyone for that matter, the store and its management team, owners, will be held responsible. What about my rights as a customer? If you want to accommodate transgender people fine. Provide them their own bathroom and fitting room so you don’t offend me. The day I use a facility and a man is in there will be my last day at Target.

I can empathize with people with gender confusion; however, until the transgender males get their male parts lopped off, there is NO WAY they should be allowed in women’s restrooms. I have a granddaughter that works in a Target part time while in college within TN. If a Transgender comes into the ladies restroom while she is in there, I will beat he/she until it’s own family want recognize it. It I go to jail, I have plenty of money to get out. This is a promise.

The only solutions is to have unisex bathrooms that serve one and one closes and locks the door. Why not do this instead of denying rights of anyone or setting them up for abuse.
