A New York Times columnist and a corporate leader have agreed that Christian churches “must” be convinced, or coerced, to change their teachings on sexual morality and abandon an “ossified” doctrinal teaching that sex outside heterosexual marriage is immoral.
Frank Bruni wrote that traditional Christianity – whether among evangelicals, Catholics, or Orthodox – provides the greatest resistance to normalizing homosexuality in the United States in a recent column in the New York Times.
“Homosexuality and Christianity don’t have to be in conflict in any church anywhere,” Bruni insisted. “The continued view of gays, lesbians and bisexuals as sinners is a decision. It’s a choice. It prioritizes scattered passages of ancient texts over all that has been learned since — as if time had stood still, as if the advances of science and knowledge meant nothing.” READ MORE

Yes it is a choice. We all make right or wrong choices. Christians live by the word of God that abides forever. If I sin it is wrong for me to ask you to be part of my sin that makes you an accessory to the fact you have a choice to say yes or no. God tells us not to be partaker of another man’s sin. Its better to obey God than man. God is Holy and just and teaches us the right way and to love all people just as He, Jesus, gave His life for the whole world. He did not give His life to sin but He gave it so that we might live in heaven for eternity if we believe in the only begotten son of God. I’m responsible for my sin and your responsible for yours. The whole duty of man is to fear God who is sinless.
