(Cornelius Quek) For more than a half-year now, my wife and I have been seeing the numbers 11-11 everywhere—whether it’s the timing on the oven, alarm clock on our iPhones, on the walls in the hallway or in the most unexpected places. The Holy Spirit was arresting our attention, and we knew He was prophetically speaking to us. As I leaned in to the significance and implications of 11-11, I felt the Lord began to speak to me these words: acceleration, recovery and double Portion.

Acceleration

“Then Elijah said to Ahab, ‘Get up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of a heavy rainfall.’ Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.’ Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel. Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel” (1 Kings 18:41, 44-46, MEV).

Elijah had prophesied about a drought in 1 Kings 17. After nearly three years of drought, He prophesied the coming of rain. Drought is a picture of a dry season, lack, barrenness and inactivity.
