The latest research shows that the much deeper and more intricate system of linked faults which could bring similar devastation to Britain. According to reports, the regions most at risk are Kent and the Home Counties, Essex, and Scotland. The UK experiences hundreds of tremors each year, of which only about 10 are actually felt.
