Texas men capture 800-lb Hog

Blaine Garcia and Wyatt Walton caught a 790-lb. hog that used to belong to Cuco Pacheco’s 11-acre pen. They were bought in to remove the wild boar after Jimmy Dale reported the boar on his property.

Two Texas hunters are celebrating after they bagged a “Boarzilla” hog that weighed almost 800-pounds. Blaine Garcia was stalking animals on a De Leon ranch on January 16 when he spotted the gigantic wild beast, reports The Flash Today. Unable to contain his excitement, he quickly called his friend Wyatt Walton — who was in the neighboring town of Cross Plains — for help. “I did a double take. I couldn’t believe his size. He took off running down a draw. I tried to walk up and get a better look but he kept running off as I approached,” Garcia told The Flash Today. The creature weighed 790-pounds — almost twice the size of the previous largest hog Garcia had ever caught, which tipped the scaled at comparatively puny 450-pounds. The pair decided to try and catch the gargantuan critter. With the help of two hunting bulldogs they started to work the 20-acre area. Soon enough, Garcia’s dog sensed the hog’s smell and started whining to be let loose. Man and pooch hid behind a tree until the wild animal was just 10-yards away. More
