Mark Muhammad, 54, will serve until the end of member Bill Bullen’s term in November, the Post-Standard reported. Mr. Bullen announced Jan. 5 he was resigning and moving to Boston. “Mark is a positive influence on our community and has been for many years,” the Democratic mayor said, the Post-Standard reported. “I am confident he will go on to do good work for the children and families of the school district.” Mr. Muhammad also serves as a adjunct professor at Syracuse University and as an assistant communications professor at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse.
