466282_630x354There have been nine confirmed cases of measles, the California Department of Public Health announced.  Seven are from five different locations within California, and two Utah residents were also confirmed to have the measles. Three more California residents were suspected of having measles. Health officials suspect someone who was at the Disneyland resort in mid-December had the measles, and that’s how the disease spread. “All confirmed and suspect cases reported visiting Disneyland or Disney California Adventure Park in Orange County, California sometime between December 15th and December 20th, 2014,” the health department said in a statement. Disney officials say they have not received any reports of staff contracting measles. Park officials are working with the health department to provide any necessary information. More
