The U.S. Geological Survey confirms what some callers felt a little past 7 this morning — that there was a 2.3-magnitude temblor in Irving, very near Saturday and Sunday’s quakes. Today’s, of course, was less potent than its predecessors. Saturday night’s quake measured 3.3 on the Richter scale, enough for it to classify as “significant.” Sunday’s 3:40 p.m. quake was a mere 2.5 — barely enough for it to make the USGS’s big board.
