A swimming advisory has been issued for six areas of Bay County waterfronts, according state health department reports. Poor results due to fecal bacteria content tests prompted the Florida Department of Health in Bay County to issue the advisory at affected beaches, because increased levels of the bacteria may cause human disease, infections or rashes.
