The Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) has killed three more people in Saudi Arabia, the country’s health officials say. On Sunday, the Saudi officials reported that a 45-year-old man had died from the MERS in the city of Jeddah and two women aged 60 and 62 succumbed to the respiratory illness in the capital Riyadh. The deaths bring the total death toll from the outbreak to 142. The number of infections stands at 473 in the country. There has been a rise in the number of infections after major outbreaks associated with hospitals in Jeddah and Riyadh in the recent weeks. More
