Bright fireball lights up the skies over Antofagasta, Chile

A bright fireball was seen and recorded flying across the night sky over Antofagasta, Chile at 23:51 UTC (20:30 local time) on February 25, 2018. The event lasted several seconds before the object disintegrated. In

cooperation with Exoss, the American Meteor Society (AMS) received 15 reports from Antofagasta, Arica and Parinacota, and Tarapaca. There are no reports of a sound associated with this event. FULL REPORT
