(By Christian Evidence) Some people teach that the Church should prepare for trouble, and had better prepare themselves in order to survive the great tribulation soon to come, just in case, because we might find ourselves in the midst of it. It’s true that we should never think that, since we know Jesus, we’ll not experience anything bad. But it’s not true that the Church should prepare in order to survive the tribulation. The true Church will NOT be in the tribulation, not at all!
1. Believers escaping wrath is taught plainly in scripture. The Bible clearly says in 1 Thessalonians 1:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:9, Luke 21:36, and Revelation 3:10, that believers escape before the Time of Jacob’s Trouble. Read it for yourself!
- The Lord Himself promised to deliver us — Rev 3:10
- The church is to be delivered from the wrath to come — 1 Thess 1:9-10
- Christians are not appointed to wrath — 1 Thess 5:9; 1, Thess 4 & 1 Thess 5:1-2
2. Consistency in symbolism. Noah and his family escape before the Flood comes. As a matter of fact, God commanded Noah and his family to enter the ark seven days before the Flood came (Genesis 7:1-10) just as the Church will escape seven years before God’s wrath is fully poured out. Similarly, Lot and his family escaped from Sodom before the city was destroyed. In particular, Jesus said the last days would be like in the time of Noah and Lot! I am sorry, but it the so called true believing church think that they will be raptured, whether it is pre-, Post – or mid-tribulation., what makes you so special???
True believers like John the Baptist, Paul and many more were either killer, boiled alive or imprisoned and you think you will skip it all?!

Sadly the truth is…only the true bride of Christ will be raptured…they are the 144,000 mentioned in Revelation 14, where they were redeemed from the earth. I strongly suggest you read Revelation 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; This is before the sealing of the 144,000, 12,000 from each of the twelve tribes of Israel mentioned in Revelation 7, as well as being before even the release of the antichrist with the opening of the first seal Revelation 6:1-2. The events of Revelation five take place before Revelation seven and it is clearly shown that these people in Revelation 5:9 are not just Jews but people of EVERY kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.

Furthermore, in the context given in verse 9 it clearly states that the seals have yet to be opened, which means these people are in heaven BEFORE the start of the time of Jacob’s trouble Daniel 30:7 (what people wrongly term the “tribulation”). We know they are Christians because the context shows they are talking to The Lamb (The Lord Jesus Christ) who has redeemed us out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation. Some of these people are probably Jews, but they are still Christians Galatians 3:28. The sealing of the 144,000 happens in Revelation 7, after the sixth seal is opened, while the events of Revelation five take place before the first seal is opened. These are saved Christians, in heaven, before the “tribulation” even starts or the 144,000 are sealed. The ONLY way this is possible is if the church is removed BEFORE it starts.
