LGBT activist groups are outraged that the Trump administration’s Department of Education invited speakers from two prominent conservative Christian family organizations to participate in a panel discussion on fatherhood held in advance of Father’s Day last week. Politico reports that experts from the Family Research Council and Focus on the Family were invited to speak at a day-long conference hosted by the Education Department that addressed how fathers can be engaged
in their children’s lives. Both FRC, headed by Tony Perkins, and Focus on the Family, led by Jim Daly and founded by
James Dobson, are known for advocating in accordance with biblical beliefs on sexuality and the belief that marriage is only a union between one man and one woman. However, the pro-LGBT advocacy group Human Rights Campaign believes that the organization’s’ beliefs in traditional marriage and opposition to same-sex marriage should make their employees disqualified from being given a government-funded platform to voice their views on marriage and family. Umm John we are suppised to serve Jesus in public and government!! You are reasoning like atheists who advocates that Christians should not bring God into the public! How can we be salt and light if we don’t serve in public? We are not of this world but we are IN this world.
Has anyone else noticed how liberals and progressives shout out “tolerance!!” Whilst having none at all for those that they disagree with?!! Christians shouldn’t be intimidated, rather pray for your enemies, Bless them, don’t compromise on God’s Word… I agree with the previous post comment, be Salt and Light to the lost and be a witness to them. Show Love, and be kind and compassionate to others….remember that many, many are deceived and brainwashed by the new morality, which is a secular religion, and any dissidents are punished…even those that are unbelievers are alarmed at how recently, the liberals have stopped all freedom of speech, even from the fervent feminists who have disagreed ardently with them on some issues…
They have control, because the church has been asleep and so much apathy…the church needs to repent, and pray for Revival…God has been moving in Russia and Ukraine, and in the Middle East, but you don’t hear of it on the news…
Many people are having visions of Jesus, and are giving their lives to Him…
