An LGBT activist is creating a new Bible app targeting “progressive” Christians who often feel marginalized by church and biblical traditions. “At its core, the holy text was written to be inclusive of all of God’s creation especially those on the margins. With all of the traditional versions of the Bible, Our Bible App will include translations that refer to God in gender-neutral terms, and a library of progressive devotionals and other resources,” founder Crystal Cheatham says on the
crowdfunding page. PBS reports the app will include 20 Bible translations and more than 300 devotional readings, meditation exercises, articles and podcasts for LGBTQ Christians and other progressive believers. “It’s the place where a transgender teen can find affirming Bible texts,” according to the Indiegogo campaign. “It’s the place where your church will watch and then chat about a sermon, it’s where you’ll find new books and organizations that you care about. All will stand before God to account for what we have done that hadn’t been repented for. I would hate to be one who took Gods Holy Word and made it say what God did not say. Start with the Ten Commandments.
Surprising World sees the purpose of church to affirm the believer instead of the Word of the Lord God. None of us measure up. All of us have need to hear the Holy Spirit and change through His power. We are asked to not conform to ‘this world but to let the spirit transform our minds and our lives. We are to seek to ultimately become perfect, using the Lord’s holy perfection as our model. As He is already so are we to become. The goal will never be reached in this lifetime.
We all know God’s Word speaks out against this sinful behavior, just as any sinful behavior. You cannot continue in it and expect to make it to heaven. We do have to love “not gay and happy” Homosexuals. I refuse to call the “gay!” Being delirious is not happy and gay, it’s just messed up. If we love them, we tell them the truth, but never condemning them. If they reject the truth, they condemn themselves.
However, now I’m speaking to Charisma Magazine, I’m a bit confused here. Nowhere in this article do you refute or correct this misconception. Are you by not saying anything about this heresy promoting homosexuality? Should I then believe you are in agreement with this blasphemous enterprise from hell? Are you condoning homosexuality, and saying the will go to heaven. You silence on it leads me, and probably gullible persons to believe you are party to their blasphemy against God’s Word. Please correct this!
As for “BuckeyePhyiscian I’m not use of your stance either. But I am totally outraged that you would equate Jesus falling there times while carrying His cross as the same thing as us falling in sin. He didn’t fall in sin. EXCUSE ME???. Are you kidding me? That is not the same thing at all!
I don’t care who you are, a Priest or an editor for Charisma Magazine, keep your doctrine straights and in line to what God’s Word says, and don’t compromise the gospel for any reason whatsoever. Countless former homosexuals have been delivered of their behavior through understanding what God’s Word says about and the blood of Jesus not only for the washing away of their sins, but for empowerment to overcome anything in life and to come to a place where you have no desire to continue in sin, but to hate the sin, but love the sinner. Miss Cheatham, here is one Bible verse regarding changing the Word of God. Revelation 22:18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophesy of this book. If anyone should add to the scriptures, God will add to him the plagues which was written in this book. If the LGBTQ want to live their CHOSEN lifestyles then go ahead, now you are changing the Bible to accomodate your sin ??? Which I find interesting because lately the LGBTQ has been bashing Christanity, yet you want to read a false Bible ?? Remember this is your PERIL !!
Very soon none of us will be allowed to read or quote the true, original word of God. We will only be allowed the “non-offensive” politically correct version approved by a certain faction of liberals.

Bible traditions?? It would have been better if these people did not read the Bible at all than to read it and decide to show the WORD of GOD the middle finger. Jesus hated the traditions of men, especially the ones that went against the doctrine of GOD. Sinful lifestyles were never and will never be traditions, GOD decreed that it is sinful to be homosexual. It is not tradition it is TRUTH. Changing the verses in the Bible means squat to GOD’s principles. It’s sad that all these efforts are encouraged by people’s feelings than truth. I read a quote that says “THE DEVIL WANTS US TO LISTEN TO OUR FEELINGS, WHILE CHRIST JESUS WANTS US TO LISTEN TO HIS TRUTHS”. If I decide to change the name JEHOVAH gave to the place Him and we will live after judgement from Heaven to Azania or Zimbabwe in our African translation of the Bible, would it change in Heaven?? If I decide to change the name of a country, would it change in Heaven? If I decide to delete or amend any Scripture in any translation, would that bound GOD to my change?? The GOD we are trying to create is not JEHOVAH. JEHOVAH does not change to what we want, we change to what HE wants. People need to understand that we are ALL condemned. It is only the blood of Jesus that saves us. Hell will be populated by people who rejected GOD, not by people rejected by GOD.
Well I can pretty much guess which verses will get thrown out first in *that* Bible. Ever single one that describes homosexuality as an abomination to God.

However if God’s word doesn’t line up with my beliefs, then simply change His word right? Bad idea. God even states not to add or subtract to His word. This is simply another example of how corrupt and decadent humanity has become. Didn’t work for those two well-known Biblical cities, won’t work now.
