A group of recent high school graduates are demanding an apology after their school superintendent reportedly invoked prayer, the Bible and his “savior” during a commencement speech over the weekend. A group of former students at Willard High School in Willard, Missouri, are taking aim at district Superintendent Kent Medlin, claiming that he simply went too far in sharing elements of his faith with the students and families who gathered for Saturday’s graduation
ceremony, the Springfield News-Leader reported. Some of the graduates spoke out to media after the fact and explained their frustration with the reportedly religious sentiments that were expressed by Medlin, who is set to retire next month. Things like these makes me glorify God and then seconds later they sadden me. Glory to God because His word is 100% accurate, the time is hear when His name and the name of His Son revolts people. Their nights/days are ruined because they heard about Jesus and His saving blood. I bet even Paul thought it was strange to be given that kind of prophecy, especially when he witness the growth of Christianity in mass proportions. But alas, it is here. I am sad because this means if these kinda feelings towards the very same thing that brings real freedom and real liberty, will ultimately bring these people total and utter destruction.
