(By Kelly McDonald, Jr) Fox News recently broke a report that the United States is not backing down from the threats issued by the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. The leader is known for his threats and bully tactics, but he is typically ignored. However, North Korea has recently taken new steps towards more advanced weaponry and missile delivery systems. This has caused countries to take them much more seriously than in prior years.
The US and her allies South Korea and Japan are potential countries being considered by North Korea for a first-strike attack. The US and South Korea recently began their yearly joint-military exercises called Foal Eagle. Drones, Special Forces, and soldiers from both countries are part of the operation. US officials say the strategy is to ‘incapacitate’ the leadership of North Korea if they launch an attack. Stay tuned for more details!
