Remember the recent story that went viral over the weekend regarding the Christian-owned drive-in movie theater in Alabama that decided to ban the showing of the new Disney movie “Beauty and the Beast” over the “Gay Moment”? Well here comes the backlash as a result! According to reports, this theater is now receiving threats from people who say they desire to “burn it down” as a result of the owner’s stance.  “There have been quite a few people who’ve made some nasty, ugly comments.

Some have wished our drive in would burn down,” Carol Laney, the owner, told Premier about the responses she has been receiving. The owner is very stern on his convictions and even recently stated if one “can’t sit through a movie with God or Jesus sitting by me then we have no business showing it.” The Christian-owned and operated business stressed that they “needed to make a stand.” stating “We all make choices and I am making mine. … I know there will be some that do not agree with this decision. That’s fine. We are first and foremost Christians. We will not compromise on what the Bible teaches,”
