(By Kelly McDonald, Jr) What if someone asked you to stop praying in your home? In Louisberg, Kansas, a current court case will have huge implications. Mary Sause was in her home on the night of November 22, 2013. Suddenly, she heard someone knock on the door and demand that it be opened. Cautiously, she opened the door to find that two police officers were standing on her door step.
She actually showed them a pocket constitution and asked why they wanted entry into her home. According to Sause, they mocked her, calling the constitution a ‘piece of paper’. During the encounter she asked the officers if she could pray in her back room. She was initially allowed to do so, but one of the officers eventually ordered her to stop. Before they left, they told her that they were there in response to a loud radio. She was charged with interference and disorderly conduct.
First of all. To enter her home, they have to have a warrant! Secondly, loud music and prayer is NOT disorderly conduct! Thirdly, Constitution or not, she has a right by law, to pray in her own home! The officers need to go back to school and learn the law!
Oh, come on. This isn’t about prayer. You’re not supposed to go pray in the middle of a conversation! You pray when there’s no one else around.
Or better yet, if God is all around you, he should be able to communicate with you at all times, no prayer needed!
Maybe we’re all missing the point here -they could have just asked her to turn down the radio and not entered her house…and to demand she stops praying…if it was another faith, “political correctness” would have stepped in and they’d would have no problem…you know it is the Christian faith the authorities have a problem with…so much so, here in the UK the Holy Bible is considered Hate Speech and you will go to court/jail for not compromising because The Word of God is OFFENSIVE to this world!!

“Offensive” and it will only get much worse from now on….
Be true and Faithful to His Word, don’t be frightened or intimidated by those that hate and reject Jesus Christ, rather pray for them that their eyes will be opened to His Truth.
