(by Kelly McDonald, Jr) Charisma News recently released a report about a pastor who put his faith into practice. Brian Alarid is the lead pastor of Passion Church in New Mexico. He is also one of the leaders in a prayer group called New Mexico Prays. Recently, they were given the opportunity to pray over governor Susanna Martinez and speak into her life.
He actually laid his hand on the governor and prophesied over her. During the prayer time, he was able share the heart-felt concerns the Christian community had about certain legislation the state is considering. Other leaders such as Lou Engle have been proclaiming that the US is in an “Esther” moment. Pastor Alarid believes that this is the beginning of a nation-wide movement to reach out to leaders in government. Believers should expect these opportunities to come as we prayerfully intercede for the future of the country.
