Even in 2017 Americans truly don’t understand the definition of real persecution for their faith in Christ. However, in other parts of the World, it is a harsh reality! Such is the case in China where reports indicate that over 80 Christians were arrested for worshiping at underground house churches across the Chinese region of Xinjiang. This comes as a result of the recent crackdowns on Christianity that occurred around the Lunar New Year holiday in late January. The
believers were arrested by authorities after they attended house church meetings across the northwestern region, The report when on to indicate that at least six others were detained in the days leading up to and after the Jan. 28 Chinese New Year holiday. It’s not a matter of “If” but when will this come to the shores of America? Until then, enjoy your freedom of worship and devotion to Christ without the fear of being arrested and even killed like many places overseas.
