(By Shane Idleman) I recently had the privilege of meeting a priest of a large parish in Southern California. The purpose of our conversation was to discuss the role of tradition in light of Scripture. Granted, some tradition is beneficial if it lines up with Scripture.
I have Catholic friends who are devoted to God; they are pillars in our community. I attended a Catholic High School and loved the faculty. I desire peace with all men, but the Bible also encourages me to boldly and confidently present a scriptural basis for truth.
1. There cannot be two absolute authorities. In the same way that we cannot believe both the Bible and the Book of Mormon or the Bible, we cannot believe the Bible and many traditions that are not grounded in Scripture but actually contradict it. Jesus said we can make the Word of God of no effect by our traditions (cf. Mark 7:13).
The church is the “pillar and foundation of the truth” (1 Tim. 3:15)—it comes under the truth; it’s not equal to it. We believe in apostolic succession in that we believe what the first apostles believed. The word Protestant comes from the word “protest.” Protestants want the church to return to the authority of Scripture alone. CONTINUE
The only true faith is the catholic faith . So Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
The catholic church is a synagogue of satan. If tou practice catholicism, you have been deceived
Protestants have a rebel spirit enveded in them, that’s why they cannot accept the true religion

This has the best read ever! So much truth.
The Catholic Church has the full truth, there is so much wrong with this article. This doesn’t explain why the Catholic Church believes these things and to not honor (catholics do not worship her, we ask her to pray for us just as you ask friends and family who are not nearly as holy as the mother of our Lord to pray for you) Mother Mary who is the Mother of Jesus our Lord and Savior meaning she is the Mother of God. Just remember no one can love her more than Jesus and He wants us to love her as well, it is His Mother. “Hail Mary, full of grace.” Is in the Bible! One can only be full of grace if one is without sin. Jesus could not be born to a sinful Mother. She has perfect virtue, and charity. Also “faith without works is dead.” That is in the book of James. How can one just believe and think he is saved but live a life contrary to the 10 commandments but since he believes in Jesus he is saved? If only it were that easy! We must daily live for Christ and work hard to always put Him first in word and deed. And if you have true faith doing works comes much easier.
That is wright, the Catholic church doesn’t and can’t preach eanything that isn’t in the bible because the bible was conceived in the Catholic faith which is the Christian faith
