One person is dead after a shooting Thursday morning at Alpine High School in western Texas, a county attorney said.The shooter in the Alpine High School incident died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Brewster County Sheriff Ronny Dodson told CNN.

One person was shot in the lower extremities and transferred to a local hospital. A police officer was also shot accidentally by a marshal while responding to the school. The condition of the officer is unknown. There are no other suspects in the shooting. READ MORE
