Well, here we go! The state of Texas heads to court on Friday to defend its bid to block the Obama administration’s recent guidance that said public schools should allow transgender students to use restrooms according to their gender identity. But the Lawmakers are now getting back up because It’s not just the lawmakers who are fighting over the issue — it’s the apparently some of the residents, including a 4-year-old girl and her mother in Pearland.
Excerpt From WFAA8ABC:
As soon as she could, Kai Shappley gravitated towards dresses and dolls. But even though she was born a boy named Joseph Paul, she made it clear what she identified as. “By age 3, she was verbalizing, ‘I’m a girl, you know I’m a girl,’,” said Kimberly Shappley, Kai’s mother. At first, it was a huge hurdle for Kimberly, a devout Christian. She admitted to a period of punishment towards Kai, until the child’s behavior proved traumatic.
I would of tore his butt up until he started saying, I’m a boy. You know I’m a boy. I blame the parents.
What about the girls who DO NOT want a boy in the bathroom. Why does one girl get to decide over every girl in school. It will not hurt this young. This boy continues to want to be a girl and as she becomes a teen and a mature adult will be when she will be traumatized. Says she a Christian did not hear her say she prayed to God to handle this and get her to accept she is a boy as God does not make mistakes. Babies are not knowing if boy or girl they have to be shown. Wonder when she started thinking she was a girl how many playmates were girls instead of boys? so she started wishing to be a girl., The worst thing the mother could have done was punish this boy. She should have had more play dates with boys.
A devout Christian?!?!… Must not be too serious about her faith cause a devout Christian would not bend for this…
You think because your child gravitated towards dolls and dresses and kept saying “I’m a girl” means that hi is a girl? Is your IQ a 20??? Take the dolls, dresses, and pink stuff away put cars, trains, tools, and other “boy stuff” and watch them transition. Put them around boys
AND… Im sorry, but when I was 3 years old… I did not know about any of this stuff. WHAT CHILD KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT BEING TRANSGENDER…WERE DO THEY GET THIS FROM??? AT 3???? Heck… I didn’t even learn about the boys and girls body parts until they took us to Robert Crown(a place about reproductive organs and difference between male and female and the changes our bodies will be going through at that age) in jr high– 7th and 8th grade… still didn’t even know about transgenderism at that age… I don’t even think such a thing existed! I am just finding it very hard that a child of 3 years old knows that and that its possible to be the other sex… which.. IT ISNT!!!!
Time to jail mom on the charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor!
Okay, for those of you who disagree with this…
I can testify that Kai is 120% legit. I know when I was one year old, the first memory I have of my current lifespan, I knew something was wrong with me. I was sorting through my mom’s clothing at that age, and my parents failed to catch on to the idea even after doing that later in my childhood.
I am now 34, and I am trying to make my transition…slowly but surely. Hopefully hers is much more successful starting at a younger age and all.
