It seems like China can’t catch a break lately with all the devastating flooding they have received. Now reports coming out of that region are indicating that At least 75 people in northern China have either died or has gone missing since Monday in some of the worst flooding in years according to the Chinese Government.

These figures released by the Civil Affairs Ministry come during continuing heavy rainfalls that has caused havoc across usually dry regions, including the capital of China, Beijing. Sadly the Chinese government is reporting 576 people have been recorded as dead or missing nationwide in the first half of 2016 alone. Constant rain has stricken Beijing since Tuesday that has resulted in forced cancellation of hundreds of flights and trains and flooded city streets. The rain has also threatened embankments along rivers in central China, with authorities mobilizing troops and heavy equipment to cope with the deluge.
