A statue of the Virgin Mary in Fresno appears to be weeping. The family who owns the statue calls it a miracle and said it’s been happening for a while. To the faithful, Maria Cardenas said the statue of the Virgin Mary is a blessing. Tears seem to well up in her right eye and stream down her face to her chin.
Cardenas said it’s beautiful the way she looks right now. Every tear, she said, is nothing short of a miracle. A lot of people come and they can’t believe it, she said, but they come with faith. “I wanted to come see for myself,” said Richard Quintana, neighbor. MORE JUNK YOU PROMOTE
We should be weeping too. Have you seen some of the blatantly un-American activities that Calif. lawmakers perpetrate? Might be a good thing if the San Andreas just lets the coastal plain of Calif. clip into the drink.
Jesus is coming soon!
So much disrespect for the Mother of God in the comments. WWJD. If people do not have the faith to understand her significance it is best to keep silent.
@bumble bee Excuse me, “mother of God”?. Blasphemy! Stop trying to deify a mere human. The Messiah was killed because He said He is the Son of God, therefore equal to Him. By calling Mary, a mere human the “mother of God” you make her equal to God, which is complete blasphemy. Jesus called Himself God because He is God, God the Son. Mary is an ordinary human, she deserves respect, sure, but not worship and idolatry, she was a sinner just like you and I. Worship God only, not an ordinary person.
God bless
Will the Vatican be investigating?
Luke 1:39-45New International Version (NIV)
Mary Visits Elizabeth
39 At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea, 40 where she entered Zechariah’s home and greeted Elizabeth. 41 When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! 43 But why am I so favored, that the MOTHER OF MY LORD should come to me? 44 As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. 45 Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!”
“Hail Mary, Full of Grace…” yes, Some folks here, who need to re-take their Bible courses, could use a little grace…..
