Texas says it can do without the billions of dollars it receives in federal school funding. The state’s lieutenant governor says Texas isn’t going to go along with a directive from the Obama administration, telling states that their schools have to let transgender students use bathrooms and locker rooms that are consistent with their chosen gender identity.
Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick says state lawmakers will find a way to come up with some of the money. He says Texas “will not yield to blackmail” and urged superintendents to defy the new federal guidance. Maybe Texas needs to keep the $200 Billion plus they and their citizens send to the Federal Government every year.

Good for Texas. It is about time the MAJORITY of us fight back. Wish Georgia would do the same. This is about the most stupid thing they have come up with YET. There is already a bathroom in most public facilities that has both on the door. Let them use THAT, or wait until they get home. Why should the will of the MAJORITY be put down by the very few of “these”.
Really let them wait until they get home. Using the restroom us a human issue that all people need access too. Why don’t you so called Christian quit worrying about what’s between someone’s legs when they are just using the bathroom. Now thousand of children will go without free lunches, which maybe the only meal they get. Kids will go without supplies. So you are going to punish thousands over a handful of kids who need access to bathrooms.
No. The fed is punishing these children. Give up your right to privacy/safety and modesty or go hungry.

the stupidity of some people .this is the same texas government that said the military excercises were going to be a takeover of our state. the politicians can incite whatever fear mongering they choose for votes . to the person said wait till they get home? you will deny a child the right to use the toilet? shame on you .
Good for Texas but it will not stop truth. Truth is that transgender is a real identity whether they choose to accept it or not. Truth is I ask all transgender people to be proud. Never feel ashamed of your identity. And even more important NEVER be ashamed of your sexuality no matter who you are. What is wrong is the very definition of sin with sexuality regardless of gender identity and this is the key they do not want unlocking truth for all of humanity. Be proud of your identity, be proud of your sexuality. I know Texas likes to judge but that job is God’s alone. Texas wants to play God, let them deal with the consequences. The time to live in fear and shame is over. Do not give them the power to deliver this into your life. I send all willing to celebrate their own identity and sexuality my love. Hold your head high. This will pass and as it does it rewrites humanity’s future. Truth will decimate their, not God’s, definition of sin. It is time we set mankind free from these chains.
