A shallow magnitude 3.8 earthquake was reported Sunday evening 18 miles from Lost Hills, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 10:20 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 4.3 miles. According to the USGS, the epicenter was 36 miles from Wasco, Calif., 37 miles from Avenal, Calif. and 38 miles from Atascadero, Calif.
