We reported earlier the breaking news that our new BFF, Iran, has seized two of our U.S. Navy boats — with 10 of our sailors on them. Yep, just a few hours before President Obama takes the podium to regale us with his myriad accomplishments — like the stellar nuclear deal with Iran — in his final State of the Union (SOTU) address. And just days before Iran is due to receive certification that it’s met its obligations under the nuclear pact, opening the door to billions of dollars in sanctions relief.
As Col. West noted, there’s something fishy about the whole situation unfolding in the Persian Gulf today, despite attempts by U.S. officials to downplay the incident. As The Hill reports: Sen. Barbara Boxer, a Democrat from California, downplayed Tuesday’s incident on MSNBC.
