With the Supreme Court’s ruling that same-sex marriage is legal in all 50 states, churches are now facing a potential nightmare as same-sex couples search for venues in which to hold their wedding ceremonies. While as of yet there are no meaningful judicial precedents that would allow the government to force churches to perform or recognize same-sex marriages, National Review warns lawsuits are just around the corner.
