Yes, says Jentezen Franklin. “If we don’t preach on the baptism of the Holy Spirit we will not see it in the next generation. We’ve got to get up and preach the truth about being filled with the Holy Spirit and let the Holy Spirit do its work,” Franklin said at the Empowered21 Conference. “… Speak in tongues. Let them hear the language of the Spirit because if they don’t hear it they won’t speak it.” Franklin, much like Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, points to America’s parallels with Israel, particularly with Deuteronomy 6:

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God. The Lord is one! And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.” To put that into practice, Franklin says to speak in tongues to train your family on how to fight in the Spirit. He looks to Joshua 3, saying that those who turned away from the Lord were not taught the things of the Spirit. FULL REPORT
